Buzz Word:: DJ Hell

Techno and Electronic Music has to be one of the most lucrative and satisfying industries in the music bizz- People come and go ( not to say this is not a general trend in the musiverse) as fast as they arrive. Of course there are very notable exceptions of artists reinventing themselves to not just push forward their ideas, but to keep listeners interested. Now when i was told to listen to Dj Hell, i was a little skeptical, albeit deterred. Why? Well i have seen all to many artists with names ubiquitous with hell, satan, anything which is against popular traditions. But i listened anyways. Wow. I was blown away, it was smooth, serene, and pounding. It was harking back to those good old analogue days- do you remember them? before anyone could pick up a computer for $500? personally i vaguely do, but as someone who grew up in the late 90's its hard. It has become so ingrained in our visions of sound- not to say that we cant produce good work, in fact it is the opposite- it has opened the doors to alot of people who otherwise would not be able to express themselves.

anyways back to Dj Hell- The Merge between the analogue and digital realms is what i would say is mystifying, the blending of nostalgia and visions of the future.
